The purpose of Music Fest is to give students an opportunity to experience the joy of performing in front of their family and friends. It is not only an occasion to showcase their hard work and talent but also a true testimony and reflection of good teaching, support and constant encouragement. It is important to remember that although this event is a competition, our main goal is to make the day enjoyable and memorable for our students and their parents. As always, we focus on using this event to continue to build the student’s self-esteem and confidence.

Music Fest is Arcadia’s biggest event of the year and the current competitive categories are: Piano Core, Piano Contemporary, Piano Duets, Guitar Core, Guitar Contemporary, Drums, Vocal Musical Theatre, Vocal Classical, Vocal Contemporary, Vocal Duets/Duet Partner, Vocal Original, Violin/Strings, Winds/Brass, Solo Instrumental Original and Battle of the Bands. Last year we had over 600 students competing. This year we anticipate that over 700 students will register for this competition.

Students are grouped according to their age group (5-8), (9-11), (12-15), (16 +) instrument and level and will compete against students from ALL Arcadia locations.

Awards will be given to students who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and to ALL participants. All first place winners will qualify for a chance to win a scholarship. Scholarship awards will be presented at a later date… stay tuned for further details.
